What A Wedding Day Looks Like At Twin Willow Gardens

Cute & Convenient Getting Ready Spaces

The getting ready spaces are two tiny homes located in between the gardens and the forested ceremony area. Both of them are pretty cute, with patios outside for extra space. Conveniently in the center of the property, it makes it very easy to set up a first look, sign paperwork, change, store things, get changed, etc.

First Looks & Couples Portraits

First looks and couples portraits are most popular in the forested ceremony area, or in the garden, depending on weather and time of day. If it’s really sunny or early in the day, the forest provides lots of shade and even light to work with. If the lighting isn’t as harsh, then the gardens by the reception area can also be a beautiful choice.

Enchanted Forest Ceremonies

Ceremonies occur in the wooded area underneath the foliage of old growth trees. The arbor and benches are included, which makes for easy set up and tear down. It truly feels private and seculded in the ceremony area, really giving couples a whimsical, “we got married in the woods” vibe with all the amenitites of being on the grid.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour typically occurs after the ceremony, in the gardens surrounding the reception tent. There’s always flowers and bushes in bloom, so your guests can enjoy a beautiful PNW evening with a drink in hand. With lots of cute gardens to explore, there’s tons of photo locations and opportunities to get some shade.

Dinner / Reception

The reception (dinner & toasts) occur under the tent, in the middle of the garden area. The ground has very realistic turf, which makes for great photos and comfortable walking. The tent haschandaliers, some bistro lighting around the outside and can fit 150 guests! The tent is great for shade on a sunny day, and even better for rain.

Sunset

Sunset lighting is typically best in the garden, or by the willow trees at the front of the venue. Because the surrounding areas also have lots of trees, and Snohomish is quite hilly, you may want to plan sunset photos earlier than intended (especially if you want actual sun flares and proper ‘golden’ hour vibes).

Dancing

The dance floor is about 15 feet from the reception tent, with a covered DJ booth and shop. Inside the shop there’s room for buffet tables, dessert tables, and restrooms. On the far end is the kitchen for catering, but your guests don’t typically see that. There’s a few sets of nice string lights, providing some great ambient lighting to complement your DJ’s lights.

Send Off

Send offs and sparkler exits happen on the concrete path by the shop that leads up to the dance floor, which makes for a very convenient setup!

Seasonal Notes

Twin Willow Gardens wedding season is fairly typical for the Paciic Northwest, and runs May through September. With that being said, you can have late spring through early fall, which provides a lot of great weather dates to choose from. They share their availability online which is great, but they do book over a year in advance so be sure to reach out!
