Every venue has different rentals and spaces included in their cost. Throughout your planning process, you’ll find out which amenities are necessary or valuable to you, your partner and your wedding. Here’s some of Chateau Lill’s key services/offerings in their venue rental;

Getting Ready Spaces

• There’s two main getting ready spaces available. One is the “Tower Suite” located at the top of the building. It has a lot of floor space, lots of windows with natural light pouring in, and a great loft as well.
• The other is on the first floor by the barrel room. It features a large mirror, a cozy couch and some soft seating, and is right next to the barrel room which is designed to be similar to an aging room you’d find at a winery.

Ceremony Spaces at Chateau Lill

• The cocktail hour lawn is a mostly open space located in between the ceremony space and the terrace patio. It comfortably fits 200 people, and has plenty of room for lawn games, cocktails and passed appetizers.
• The Upper Garden Space is where most ceremonies are hosted, facing either the pond or underneath their cedar trees. The space is mostly surrounded by lush greenery and really doesn’t need much to be beautiful for a wedding day. It has a capacity for 200 seated guests at a ceremony, or 100 for a cocktail hour/reception.

Reception Spaces

• “The Grand Room” is where ceremony and receptions happen on cold or rainy days. It features high ceilings, exposed wood, a beautiful fireplace and piano. It features a neutral color palette which is perfect for customization. It has capacity for 80 seated guests, 100 standing.
• Their terrace patio is where dinner and toasts are typically hosted on sunny days. Surrounded by manicured greenery and underneath a large, white, tent – it provides shade on hot days and somewhere dry to stand on rainy ones. It has a capacity of 180 seated and 200 standing.
• The rest of the gardens surrounding these other spaces are included, and they’re beauitful. Theyre’s a willow tree by a cute wooden bridge, a dock on the pond and a beautiful, old, gazebo perfect for signing paperwork. Truly, there’s something gorgeous in every direction.

A rainy wedding day at Cheatu Lill is truly no problem! Not only are there tons of photo spaces that are either completely or partially covered, but their indoor spaces are truly beautiful. The wooden fireplace is a great back up plan for a cozy & cute atmosphere, and the tent outside is a great spot for fresh air while staying dry.

Seasonal Notes

I frequently joke that winter in the PNW is similar to Noah Kahan’s “stick season” – I also call it brown town – because lots of foliage has withered away and is turning into mulch. With that being said, late spring through fall is really ideal at Chateau Lill. My personal favorite time is fall, as the changing colors are beautiful. The lighting is soft, and the air is crisp and refreshing. Nobody has to worry about sweating and getting heat stroke or sunburned is out of the question. Sunset is much earlier, which can make for beautiful cocktail hours and getting sunset photos done earlier in the evening.
