Cass joined in 2023, and together they specialize in showcasing candid love stories in the heart of the pacific northwest. They believe that creating beautiful imagery starts much sooner than the wedding day; it starts with a collaborative experience prioritizing a couple’s comfort and vision. How We Became Seattle Wedding Photographers
Emett and Cassidy, both Pacific Northwest born & raised, have always been inspired by the region's stunning natural beauty, from the towering Mount Rainier to the breathtaking views of Deception Pass Bridge. Emett began Emett Joseph Photography in 2019, capturing heartfelt moments for couples across the state. In 2023, Cassidy officially joined the team, bringing her flair for detail and design—her very first flat lay was even published in *Oregon Wedding Day*! Together, they’re not just partners in life and business but also proud “cat parents” to Loki, their mischievous feline who rules their home with a mix of charm and chaos. Their shared love for authentic storytelling and the landscapes of Western Washington shines through in every photo they capture, making them a dynamic duo for couples looking to document their love story.

While some couples think that wedding photography is as simple as showing up and taking pretty photos, there's so much more that goes into the services provided! Depending on the flow of the day, I typically deliver 50-100 edited, high resolution, images per hour.

You'll get a sneak peak/highlight gallery of your day within a week, and the entire gallery edited in a high resolution, online gallery with unlimited downloads and printing rights within 12 weeks.

I'm more than happy to when the situation calls for it! Some weddings are small & cozy enough that a second photographer isn't needed, sometimes the party calls for it!

WHAT'S YOUR APPROACH/STYLE? WHAT ABOUT POSING?

I approach wedding days with a documentary, story-telling foundation. Since we'll be hanging out all day, I'll do whatever I can to help you feel cool, calm and collected while capturing the authentic moments as they develop. Posing wise, I focus on prompts that aren't stiff or unnatural, and bring out your best side, every time.
