Being raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, it's only natural that I fell in love with exploring the outdoors. All of Washington state's most iconic locations are basically my backyard, Mt. Rainier National Park, the Olympics and Oregon are all within a couple of hours of me.
As a teenager and young adult, I had a pretty rebellious streak and really learned what it meant to break tradition, and to live with intention. Coming back down to earth, I found a lot of peace of mind through hiking and connecting with rad people; so as soon as I picked up photography I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

So, let me be really clear about this whole thing - this is my dream job, so yeah I'm pretty stoked to be a part of your day. I'm happy to be there for you, and I'm happy to be a part of every moment of it. But why - why do I care so much about making sure you have a great wedding day?
Well, I spent a lot of my of younger years in life people pleasing and building a life around making everybody else happy. As I got older and started to actually find myself, I picked up photography as a hobby and spent my free time chasing freedom through the great outdoors. Being surrounded by places like Mt. Rainier National Park, the North Cascades and the Oregon coast, it was easy to do.
Fast forward a few months, I shot my first wedding amped to just get the experience, and during the vow exchange I got pretty emotional. Despite all of life's trials, tribulations and successes - this couple was vowing to spend the rest of their lives together. When I delivered the gallery, I had never been more proud of myself, and I immediately knew that all of life's turning points shared something in common. They started with incredible relationships and unconditional love.
To be invited into your life, to tell the story of your love, is truly one of the deepest honors and privileges I have. I've found my purpose, and it's invigorating to be a part of yours.
I'm a huge believer of personal freedom, and I'm here to help you throw out the preconceived notions and expectations of what a wedding day SHOULD look like, and help you achieve what you WANT it to look like.
