First things first, huge congrats on this awesome milestone! It's such a special time for you, and I'm genuinely stoked to be part of it. Whether you're cooking up a surprise engagement or just want to capture your
engagement bliss to share with your crew, count me in. I've put together engagement packages, perfect for couples dipping their toes into pro photos before going all-in on the big wedding day.

First thing's first, you'll fill out my contact form and inquire! I'll respond within 24 hours of receiving your inquiry (probably much faster), and we'll start connecting about what you have in mind for your session!

Once we've nailed down the vibe, we'll figure out the best date, time and place. I'm more than happy to provide suggestions for the most flattering scenery and lighting possible. Together, we'll make sure your vision comes to life.

When it comes time for your engagement session, I'll get to guide you through candid moments and gentle posing. While encouraging couples to be present and focused on each other, it'll feel like hanging out with an old friend by the time we're all said and done!

Photography has always been more than taking pretty photos. The moment I picked up my camera, I knew I wanted to do something special with it. Connecting with people, seeing the world and telling your story is what's important to me. After spending my younger years out of touch with what made me happy, photography and everything it includes created a passport to truly finding myself. Add my love for people of all walks of life to the mix, shake it up with some good vibes, and you get Emett (that’s me!).

When we set out on our wedding planning journey, Emett was the FIRST person my husband and I reached out to. We didn't even know yet if we wanted a small elopement or a more "traditional" wedding day, but we knew we wanted him there with us to capture it.
It's been five months since our wedding and we still frequently look at our photos - they exceeded our expectations and having them means more to us than I can express. I've even had our digital wedding album pulled up as a tab on my phone browser since November so I can easily revisit the memories he so lovingly helped us create. Based on the scenery you're looking for, I'll provide you with a list of the best possible locations! You'll get to pick the brain of a local (me!), and a photographer (also me) throughout the whole process.

I'll do everything I can to accommodate by providing backup locations and alternative plans. Typically, we proceed rain or shine unless it's dangerous. I handle reschedules on a case by case basis!

WHAT'S YOUR APPROACH/STYLE? WHAT ABOUT POSING?

I approach wedding days with a documentary, story-telling foundation. Since we'll be hanging out all day, I'll do whatever I can to help you feel cool, calm and collected while capturing the authentic moments as they develop. Posing wise, I focus on prompts that aren't stiff or unnatural, and bring out your best side, every time.
