How I became a Portland, Oregon
Wedding & Elopement
Photographer
Growing up north of Portland, Oregon - it was really easy to fall in love with the pacific northwest. My first job was on a kayak dock with a view of the mountains. Every summer evening when the sun would set across the water, I'd catch myself day dreaming about what it would be like to be in the mountains.
Fast forward to my early twenties, I got a camera so I could spend my time creating something artistic and positive. My first trip was to the Columbia River Gorge outside of Portland, Oregon, and I immediately fell in love with how fun it was to capture all the beautiful scenery and moments with my friends.
A few months later, a coworker asked me to photograph their brother's wedding. When I realized I could make a career out of capturing something so meaningful, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for a living!
Photography continues to take me to beautiful places like Mount Hood, Cannon Beach, Bend & the rest of Oregon & the Pacific Northwest. I'm forever grateful that I get to do something so meaningful for a living, and it wouldn't be possible without people like you!
There's nothing I love more than helping couples create beautiful memories in beautiful places.
